"While COVID-19 spreads, drivers need to keep on trucking”

We talked to Volodymyr Protsko, team manager at FTM, a Polish carrier company that has been working with us for more than 2 years!

They have a fleet of about 40 trucks, of which all are on the road. In order to make it happen, they had to hire additional drivers as security during the outbreak of COVID-19.

Volodymyr insists that ensuring safety measures is very important, such as additional health controls and shorter shifts for each driver. Preventive methods such as giving masks, individual disinfectants and hand sanitizer to the drivers have been implemented as well.

Social distancing remains one of the most effective ways of slowing the spread and drivers are also taking these measures, but being in the front line is everything but easy. That’s why it’s very important to support them in their work by ensuring that they are treated with respect, as well as keeping essential facilities open for their use.

All truck drivers are doing an outstanding job to keep essential parts of the economy working. They make sure that food, other household items, and foremost essential medical products are being transported.

Volodymyr specifically highlights that keeping strong communication is very important as it helps to solve problems on a daily basis and ensures control over the situation.

We are all in this together!
